What This Week Means to Me

This week is more than just posters and talks.

For me, Bullying No Way Week is a reminder that I’m not alone. I’ve been on the receiving end of jokes that weren’t funny, whispers that felt like shouts, and being left out on purpose.

It hurt, and it still does sometimes. But this week reminds me that people care, and that things can change. It’s a chance for all of us to look out for each other, to speak up when we see something wrong, and to make our schools a place where everyone belongs.

If someone’s reading this and feels like no one notices, please know, I notice. And I believe it can get better. We can all get through this.
